Reclaiming Our Pride
As we are approaching Pride month, we want to take a moment to look back on the last few months of B2Bassment, because a lot has happened. In May, bicoastal babes, DJ Rich King and host Mikee co-created the night with us. As expected, Rich turned us and the whole crowd out - with his beautiful vinyl set packed full of un-Shazamable house tracks. Sweet Mikee was such a cute host, it felt like yet another reunion of sorts just having them there with us.

In April, Gant played an early set that lit the whole room on fire. He was obviously still feeling the vibes from his gig at 718 Sessions the week prior. If you missed his set with Manny Ward, we're posting it here again because it was just that good.
On the whole, every month has brought a stronger crowd and more familiar faces from the original Bassment days. Shoutout to Ricky, Albert, Eduardo, Guy, Sid, DJ Chauncey, Vee, and Aleix — among others — who keep showing up and spreading the word. That means everything to us., and of course our big brother, Gant Johnson who will be DJing with us for our Pride kickoff party in June.
Speaking of which, we’re beyond excited for this next one - and diving right into Pride month! First of all, Gant Johnson IS NYC Pride and it doesn’t get more festive than the west village’s favorite disco at the Monster. For the sensory seeking, in the main room you can expect Pride anthems, 90s NYC house, Bassment classics and other surprises from the three of us. And because it was such a big hit, Joél Andres Collier returns to read your tarot in the backroom.
